My Pregnancy, Pregnancy

My sweet baby is a sweet potato

March 17, 2015 0

My pregnancy weeks 17 to 18 saw a bit more growth to my bump, but not quite as much as I expected. Although I’m not sure if this is just because I’m looking at it every day, so not really noticing the changes.

Appetite is still there but I’m not eating loads like I know some mums-to-be are at this stage. Trying to be as balanced as possible, but do find I’m enjoying carbs and stodge most, so am trying to make a concerted effort to eat more fruit and veg.

The guys at work had a couple of nights-out recently and I just didn’t have the energy to go and in honesty, am struggling going out in the evenings when everyone is drinking and I’m not. I get sleepy and frustrated! Although in general, not drinking is easier than I expected.

On countdown to our next scan – the anomaly scan and super excited to see the baby again. Seems like it’s been ages!

But aside from that, not huge amounts to report. Feeling surprisingly normal.
